How "Foxy" Came to Be
My love for baking really comes from wanting to share joy with the people around me. It started about 10 years ago when I’d whip up batches of treats for my coworkers during the holidays. Back then, it was mostly brownies, cookies, and chocolate-covered pretzels, simple things that made everyone smile. Fast forward about six years to my current job, and I was baking for every birthday, holiday, and special occasion, adding cupcakes, cakes, and all kinds of specialty treats to the mix.
One day, a friend suggested I record myself baking, and I thought it would be a great way to capture those moments for my kids—to let them see their mom doing what she loves on social media. I wanted to have fun with it, so I named myself “Foxy” and threw in a British accent for laughs. My kids thought it was hilarious, and honestly, I had a blast with it. Then things got a bit more serious. I kept hearing from friends and family about how much they loved my treats and how I needed to start my own business. So, I finally took the plunge—and here I am!
